Intervention.

I may need one.  I am baking...a lot.  Blame it on the new kitchen aid, but reality is I am avoiding NCLEX? Studying? Anticipation of real life job insanity?  Whatever.  My kitchen is a sweltering paradise.

I am making liberation food, indulgent "life-is-good" food.  My kitchen is too hot, I am sweating like a beast and I am whipping up a little 4-5 hour dish called beef bourguignon.  Honestly. I would turn myself in except I am having so much fun.

As soon as I whip something up, I am sending it out the door to someone else, so don't fear for the health of my heart.  Ok, maybe you should fear for it a little bit.

...

I am good at being busy.  Too good.  I am excellent at juggling many projects, staying just over the line of manic, being fueled by coffee and good ideas.  I just finished my last "Transitions" shift, meaning that I have a good week and a half of time before official graduation, which feeds into another month or so of NCLEX limbo, where I must study, study, study and then pass my boards.  And then start working, hopefully, shortly after.  While I have tasks to do in the next week point five, I find myself daunted by the epic space and lack of structure.  Um.....hello?  What am I supposed to be doing?  [Pause in the silence]
